Brandon Goebel explodes for 32 in St. Clair victory over Jackson County Central

JACKSON, MINN. — Brandon Goebel had a huge game putting up 32 points as the St. Clair boys basketball team handed Jackson Country Central a 80-70 defeat in non-conference action on Saturday. With the win, the Cyclones improve to 14-5 overall, 8-1 in the Valley Conference.
Two Cyclones had a double-double with 6’5” Mitchell Weber tossing in 17 points while pulling down 10 boards and 6’3” Grant Nagel added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
“This was a good win on the road on the back end of a back to back.” Said St. Clair head coach Charlie Freitag “We had a very good week with three wins and St. Clair Schools were awarded the 2015 Regional Youth in Leadership Award by the American Cancer Society for raising over $22,000 during our Coaches vs. Cancer event.”
The Cyclones will play the Sleepy Eye Indians on the road Tuesday in a non-conference match up. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
