Live at the Grand: Amy Manette and DD & Roscoe

NEW ULM, MINN. — Amy Manette will be performing on Friday, Feb. 10 and DD & Roscoe on Saturday, Feb. 11th at the Grand Kabaret in New Ulm. Both musical events are free and open to the public. 

Friday, February 10th – 7:30pm: Amy Manette

Amy Manette plays swing, jazz, blues and pop.  The group is fronted by powerful, soulful singer Amy Manette Kuch.  Ed (Doc) Thorpe plays piano and pop and jazz organ.  Dustin Voges plays trumpet and sings. Marvin Topp is Amy’s drummer and also sings 

Saturday, February 11th -7:30pm: DD & Roscoe

DD & Rosco is a two-piece band that incorporates acoustic guitar, banjo, and vocals in cover songs and original music. Music includes a combination of ghostly folk and raw country. Danielle and Ross Deopere are a sibling pair from Cambria, Minnesota. DD & Rosco was formed in October of 2014, although the two have played music together for many years before that. 

The Grand Center for Arts & Culture (GCAC), located in downtown New Ulm, is an operating art center, featuring an art gallery, arts education space, and The Grand Kabaret, a unique music venue with bar service. With free, live music virtually every Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 PM, there’s never been a better time to visit!
