David Beck joins Pioneer Bank in Madelia
MADELIA, MINN. — One of southern Minnesota’s strongest community banks announced the addition of an ag and business banker in their Madelia branch. “I’m proud to announce that David Beck has joined us in Madelia as an ag and business banker,” said Steve Cooling, President of the bank’s Central Market. “David brings a strong family farm and accounting background to his role at the bank. We are looking forward to his contributions to the bank, our customers and the Madelia community.”
Beck is a lifelong area resident growing up on his family’s farm in northern Watonwan County. He is a graduate of St. James High School and Gustavus Adolphus College.
Cooling said Beck will work closely with Dennis Swenson as Swenson prepares for his retirement. “We are fortunate that David has such a strong and experienced mentor to work with and learn from as he begins his career at Pioneer Bank,” said Cooling. “That time with Dennis and David’s strong ag background make him a perfect fit for this new role.”
Pioneer Bank has grown to over $400 million in total assets and has offices in Mankato, North Mankato, St. James, Mapleton, Madelia, Lewisville and a loan production office in Lake Crystal.
