Dunkin’ Donuts Cop on a Rooftop Fundraiser
MANKATO, MINN. — Dunkin’ Donuts and the Mankato Department of Public Safety are teaming up for a Cop on a Rooftop Special Olympics fundraiser on Friday, August 11.
Local law enforcement will be at Dunkin’ Donuts, 1705 Madison Avenue from 6:00 am to 11:00 am raising money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
There will be police officers on the rooftop as well as on the ground, meeting and greeting people and bringing awareness to the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Each guest who visits the Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser on Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and makes a donation to the Torch Run will receive a FREE Medium coffee coupon.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) is the largest grassroots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics in the World. The Minnesota LETR is supported by the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association and Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run holds many fundraising events for Special Olympics Minnesota throughout the year, including the Final Leg has law enforcement volunteers and athletes act as the Guardians of the Flame and carry the “Flame of Hope” through their communities that culminates at Summer Games. Minnesota LETR members volunteer at Area, Regional and State competitions and participate in a variety of fundraisers.
