New faces, new office, new town
ALBERT LEA, MINN. – The Marketing Plant (TMP) is Growing Beautiful Business and adding beautiful minds. Fueled by top-notch creative work and wicked smart strategery for clients like Mrs. Gerry’s and intellicents, TMP is expanding their footprint and packing an even bigger punch. And now, finally, after months of claiming to be too busy with client work to write the press release, TMP is finally happy to announce the additions. Go big or go home, right?
Aaron Wangen joins as President, The Marketing Plant Mankato. Yep, that’s right. TMP is taking the notion of turning “the middle of nowhere” into the “middle of everything” and opening up a shop in Mankato, Minn., just down the road from Albert Lea. Aaron has just the right combination of strategic marketing sense and creative vision to help expand the TMP footprint. He comes to TMP with an extensive background in marketing and sales, including Minnetonka’s Vital Images, Inc., where he managed B2B marketing communications and branding for the healthcare IT division of Toshiba Medical, and Blue Earth’s Express Diagnostics International, Inc., where he positioned marketing, communications and branding to increase sales more than 230% in his tenure with the company.
Cole Thompson joins as Creative Director. Cole came to TMP from The Lacek Group in Minneapolis, where he made people ooh, aah and awe as copywriter. His award-winning creative work and unassuming style have helped him carve out a reputation as one of the best kept secrets in the Minneapolis ad community. Cole will lead the creative charge with a focus on telling compelling brand stories and continuing to build a team that punches above their weight.
In addition to these new recruits, TMP is on the lookout for designers and art directors to joining their talented stable of unicorn hunters. Interested? Head on over to their newly revamped site, themarketingplant.com, and tell them a little about yourself.
