LE CENTER, MINN. — The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse is honored to present a check in the amount of $17,603.00 to Sara Fabian with the Children’s Hospitals Minnesota Foundation.

In September of 2017 Le Sueur County Mounted Posse held the 34th Annual Wagon Train for Youth event. This is the second year that Le Sueur County has put on this event and we have earned well over $30,000 in donations for the Minnesota Children’s Hospital. The funds are used to support hospital services with the areas of greatest need, which in 2016 were Cancer and Blood Disorders, Pain and Palliative, and Child and Family Services programs.

Sheriff Brett Mason couldn’t be more proud of all the Posse Members who volunteered their time to make this a successful event. We raised an astonishing amount and that wouldn’t have been possible without all the volunteers involved.

The 35th Annual Wagon Train for Youth event will be held by Waseca County on Sept 7-9. We hope they enjoy hosting this event as much as Le Sueur County has for the past two years.
