Mankato Times

MANKATO, MINN. — Have you planted the same plants year after year and are looking for new ideas? Maybe you are planting your first garden and have no idea where to start. Join us at the Blue Earth County History Center on Saturday, May 19 at 2 p.m. when Kim Sogaard of Edenvale Nursery presents “Gardening with Minnesota Natives and their Cultivators.”

Kim Sogaard is an Edenvale Nursery employee and Landscape Designer with years of experience. Learn more about native Minnesota wildflowers that will bring color to your gardens. She will also share about some of Minnesota’s non-native flowering favorites.

This event is in connection with the Botanicals art exhibit by Gerry Tostenson; currently on display at the History Center. Free and open to the public.
