Vote for Mankato Basketball Court to Win Renovation Through Timberwolves

MANKATO, MINN. — The basketball court at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato is one of the three finalists selected for refurbishment by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the southern Region of the state.

Vote for the basketball court at Franklin Rogers Park, 601 Reed Street, to be refurbished as part of the Minnesota Timberwolves–who play in the National Basketball Association–“Our Courts. Our Future.” program. Vote now through 11:59 p.m., Sunday, May 20. Individuals may cast one vote per region per day.

Franklin Rogers Park is currently undergoing numerous improvements including a new artificial turf, seating and a new scoreboard. Many neighborhood kids utilize this space and many informal adult groups come here since it is the only place in Mankato where two full size courts are located in a park.

The winner of the court refurbishment will be announced live on the Timberwolves Facebook page at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 24.
