Public Invited to 36th Annual Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse Trail Ride
LE CENTER, MINN. — Sheriff Brett Mason would like to invite you to come out this weekend for the 36th Annual Posse Trail Ride that is put on by the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse! The three day event takes place June 15, 16 and 17 at the Le Sueur County Fairgrounds, 320 S Plut Ave, Le Center.
The weekend kicks off with the Ranch Rodeo on Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Le Sueur County Fairgrounds. Horses and riders will be competing in cattle events, break away roping, sorting, penning and trailer load. Admission to the Ranch Rodeo is free. There will be concessions available at the ranch rodeo with some great food including barbecue ribs, chicken, pulled pork, steak sandwiches and more!
For those of you looking to join the trail ride on horseback the ride will begin at noon on Saturday, June 16th from the Le Sueur County Fairgrounds. Trail ride registration opens on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. After the ride come and enjoy a chicken dinner which will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Following dinner the dance will start around 7:30 p.m.
On Sunday, June 17th a shorter trail ride starts at noon and will last for a couple hours. You can register for either rides on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. or arrive at the fairgrounds several hours before the last ride on Sunday to register.
It’s a great event for the community. More and more people are coming to the ranch rodeo and ride each year. It’s a lot of good food, good people, good fun and good entertainment. We hope to see you there!
